The story of a family of 4 Palestinian refugee kids who have been moving from place to another in search of hop for life
Mohammad, aged 10, Eman, aged 8, Amnah, aged 7, and Abdallah, aged 5, were born in Syria but with a Palestinian nationality. Their great-grandfather was a Palestinian who moved to Syria along with his family as refugees. During the Syrian Civil War in 2011, the family lost everything and had to flee as refugees once again. However, the family were unable to escape and were held in the Yarmouk camp.
Alhamdulilah, after too much difficulty and burden, the 4 kids could manage to travel and seek refugee in Malaysia.
Their father passed away while in the camp in 2016, while their mother is still in Syria, where she has since remarried. After her second marriage, she sent all of her children to their uncle’s place, who could hardly manage himself. With the help of their grandparents, they were able to acquire all of the required documents as well as saving some money with the help of their other relatives to get the visas from the Malaysian embassy in Lebanon. After much difficulty, the children managed to flee and were brought to Malaysia. Here, they are under the care of their elderly grandparents.
Now, we aim from this campaign to raise fund to support 4 Palestinian Refugee Children In Malaysia with scholarship to continue their Education and have better life.
Last year, Mohammad, the eldest boy, studied at the International Integrated Tahfiz primary school (http://iitahfiz.com/) in Taman Nirwana, Ampang, Malaysia, which is founded and operated by Principal JoAnne Pare Abdullah as a not-for-profit private Islamic school. He attended the school with a scholarship funded through crowdfunding last year. Hopefully, with your assistance and donations, we can continue his education and extend scholarships to his siblings as well so they will all have a better life insha’ Allah. The youngest, Abdullah, will study at a kindergarten, the Islamic Child Development Centre (http://icdc.edu.my/), also founded and operated by Principal JoAnne Pare Abdullah.
